Dr. Jody Bartz, the passionate and energetic Founder and Executive Director for Sonoran STOKE, is a transformational leader, dedicated endurance athlete, and powerful coach who is dedicated to making connections, creating community, and building confidence in everyone she works with. Jody’s developed a NICA team, successfully coached numerous athletes for a variety of off-road events, and in 2023, she stepped away from academia to create GRO girl GRO--MTB programming specifically designed to increase the number of girls in Tucson and surrounding areas who believe they BELONG in the outdoors.
